The secret to a fragrance that lasts all day is not more perfume — it is better preparation. Layering builds your scent in quiet steps, from the shower to the final spritz.

Start in the shower

Fragrance clings to clean, warm skin. Begin with a scented shower gel in the same family as your perfume — our Shower Gel II lays down a soft base of saffron and amber that the eau de parfum will build on.

Moisturise while the skin is still damp

Dry skin lets fragrance evaporate quickly. Smooth a body lotion over slightly damp skin to lock in moisture and give the scent something to hold on to. A light, fast-absorbing formula like Body Lotion I works beautifully under every Ævenue scent.

Apply perfume to pulse points

Spray your eau de parfum on the wrists, the base of the neck and behind the ears — places where the skin is warm and the scent can slowly unfold. Resist the urge to rub your wrists together; it breaks down the top notes.

Finish with your home

Layering does not stop at the skin. A reed diffuser in the same scent creates a quiet continuity between you and your space — so your home smells like you, and you like your home.
