Ævenue X began as an experiment in light. What would it look like if a perfume could hold a sunbeam — and keep it?

Gold that moves

Inside every bottle of Ævenue X, delicate flakes of genuine 24-carat gold leaf drift slowly through the fragrance. Tilt the bottle and they rise, catch the light and settle again — like dust in afternoon sun. It took many trials to find a flake size that floats gracefully without clouding the liquid.

A scent worthy of the bottle

The composition had to match the gold. We chose luminous saffron and Bulgarian rose over a heart of aged oud and golden amber, resting on ambergris and sandalwood — rich, warm and unhurried. It is the most opulent scent we have made, yet it still wears close to the skin, in the quiet Ævenue way.

Why only 999?

Gold leaf, aged oud and hand-finishing cannot be rushed. Rather than compromise, we decided to make Ævenue X only once, in a numbered edition of 999 bottles. Each is numbered on the base, presented in a linen-wrapped case and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

How to wear it

Gently tilt the bottle before use to awaken the gold, then apply to the wrists and the base of the neck. Store upright and away from sunlight to keep both scent and shimmer at their best.
